Privacy
The short version: a name you pick, a scrambled PIN, and your scores. That's it.
What we store
- A display name you choose. It doesn't have to be your real name.
- Your PIN, scrambled. We keep a one-way salted hash, never the PIN itself. Nobody, including the site admin, can read it.
- Your scores: points, answers for each day's run, streak and days played.
- Your crew code, if you join one.
- Your time zone, so your day resets at your midnight.
To keep you signed in, your browser holds a random sign-in token. We store only a scrambled copy of it. To slow down PIN guessing, failed sign-ins are counted against a scrambled version of the network address they came from. Those records are deleted after a day.
What we don't store
- No email address, phone number or real name.
- No ads, no tracking, no analytics, no third-party sign-in.
Who can see what
Other players see your display name, points and streak on the leaderboard. Your crew sees you on the crew board. The site admin can see display names, crews and scores to help with things like PIN resets. They can't see your PIN.
Deleting your data
Go to Settings and choose Delete my account and data. Enter your PIN and everything tied to your account is removed right away. If you can't sign in, ask the site admin to remove you.
